Behind the Design: The Real Story of Hebesport Jewelry

Most brands start from business ideas.
Hebesport didn’t.

It started from a court, a shuttlecock, and a love for sports that shaped almost every part of my life.

I didn’t grow up dreaming of making a jewelry brand.
I grew up spending my weekends in badminton halls—sweaty air, echoing shouts, slippery floors, and the thrill of chasing every point.

Badminton wasn’t just a sport to me.
It was a safe place.
A routine that grounded me.
A community that felt like home.

Years later, I even became a certified badminton umpire, simply because I loved the sport so much I wanted to understand it from every angle.

But I never found a way to carry that love with me.
You can’t bring a racket everywhere.
You can’t hang a medal on your neck every day.
But the passion?
You want it to stay close.

That was the moment Hebesport began — quietly, in the back of my mind.

🌱 The Spark: “Why doesn’t sport have jewelry of its own?”

One day, I realized something simple:
people wear jewelry to express identity.
But sport lovers?
We didn’t have anything.

You can love badminton, yoga, skiing, table tennis…
but unless you’re actively doing it, no one knows.
There was no elegant, minimal way to show your relationship with the sport you love.

Everything available was either too tacky, too childish, or too “keychain souvenir” vibes.

I wanted something you could wear even to:

• lunch with friends

• a date

• the office

• or even while training

Something clean, modern, and meaningful.
Not loud, not cheesy.
Just… you.

So I started sketching.
Not as a designer — just as someone who wanted a piece that felt personal.
A small shuttlecock pendant.
A simple racket outline.
A clean paddle silhouette for pingpong.
A snowflake with subtle ski tracks.
A lotus for yoga lovers.

Minimal.
Symbolic.
Sporty, but still elegant.

And that’s how Hebesport slowly took shape.

🏸 Why Badminton Will Always Be the Heart of Hebesport

Even though Hebesport now has multiple collections, badminton is always the soul of this brand.

Because it’s where everything started:
the early mornings, late-night training, the people I met, the matches I watched, the friendships built on the court.

Badminton is about:

• discipline

• resilience

• speed

• control

• and heart

All of that emotion…
I wanted to capture it in a small piece of metal that someone could wear every day.

That’s why our Badminton Collection is crafted with obsessive detail — proportions of the racket, curve of the shuttle, even the angle of the lines.

It’s a tribute to the sport that shaped me.

💎 Designing Jewelry That Feels Personal

I never wanted Hebesport jewelry to feel like “merch.”
It had to feel like jewelry first, sport second — not the other way around.

So every design goes through three questions:

1️⃣ Does it look elegant enough for daily wear?
2️⃣ Does it still clearly represent the sport?
3️⃣ Does it make a sport lover smile the moment they see it?

If the answer to any of these is “no,” we don’t make it.

That’s why our pieces are:

• minimal

• lightweight

• durable

• unisex

• subtle but full of meaning

I want people to wear them and say,
“This is me. This represents something I love.”

At its core, Hebesport is a reminder:
that movement matters,

I made Hebesport because I wanted sport lovers to feel seen.

To have something that feels like their world, in the form of something simple and beautiful.

And seeing people from different countries wear these pieces now — badminton players, yoga teachers, skiers, pingpong lovers — it feels surreal.

It reminds me why I started this.
